Photos

Your photos are analysed by NitechAI, the estimating system built for us by Nitech, to count doors, drawers and other pieces. NitechAI runs on trusted cloud AI and hosting providers that process the photos on our behalf. We keep a copy with your estimate, privately, so we can look at your kitchen when you call or book a survey. Only CMC Respray staff can see them.

What we keep

The counts, the estimate figure, and the name, phone or email and postcode you give us, so we can send your estimate and arrange a survey.

Follow-up emails

If you leave an email, we add it to our follow-up list so we can check in about your quote and occasionally send offers. Tick the box on the form if you would rather not, or email us any time and we will take you off.

Who sees it

Only CMC Respray staff. We never sell your details. To run the estimator we use service providers who process data only on our instructions: Vercel (hosting and private photo storage) and Google (Gemini AI, which counts the pieces in your photos). Some of this processing may happen outside the UK, under UK-approved safeguards.

Why we can use it

To give you an estimate and arrange a survey you asked for (steps before a contract). Follow-up emails rely on our legitimate interest in following up a quote you requested; you can opt out on the form or with the unsubscribe option in any email.

How long we keep it

Estimates and photos that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. If you book a job, records are kept for up to 6 years for tax and warranty reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your details and photos, object to or restrict how we use them, or get a copy. Email Conor@cmcrespray.com and we'll reply within one month. CMC Respray (Conor McAvinchey) is the data controller. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
